Description

Ameda breast pump valves are parts designed to preserve pump suction while allowing milk to flow into a milk storage bag, bottle, or other collection container. Ameda valves are compatible with Mya and Mya Pro breast pumps,Purely yours UNA, Lacteline,Manual pump which use the Ameda Mya Milk Collection/exprssion Kit.

• • All replacement breast pump parts including valves of the Ameda Milk Collection/expression Kit are BPA- and DEHP-free so mom can be assured of a safe pump for her little one.
  • Valves are designed to preserve pump suction while allowing milk to flow into a milk collection container.
  • These valves are made with flexible silicone material that aids in the process of expressing breast milk during a pumping session.
  • Require replacement every 1-3 months depending on your pumping schedule and cleaning to have optimal suction and to keep your hospital-strength Ameda Mya breast pump clean and damage-free.

After each use/expression the following 4 components of Milk expression kit need to be sterilized;

1)     breast shells
2)    valves
3)    diaphragms
4)    bottles.

Care should be taken while removing the valve, it should not be pulled from where the membrane is thin, but it should be pinched from the sides, where the membrane is thick, so that it convulges in the centre and we can simply remove it.
